Godshill Park Farm

just wanted to show you my lovely room at godshill park farm and include a few photos taken around the farm, full of rare breeds and interesting items like this sculptured tree trunk. I was very taken with some lovely wool fabric produced from one of the rare breed sheep I intend to make my self something with it eventually!!

a trip to the Isle of Wight

the day after we returned from Cambodia I was on the move again travelling down to the Isle of Wight for a week's teaching at a quilting retreat courtesy of Oliven patchwork and craft shop in Newport. We were based at Godshill park farm a lovely B&B in an idyllic rural setting in the centre of the island www.godshillparkfarm.net

well I've been so busy over the past few weeks that I really haven't had time to blog so there is a lot of catching up to do. firstly we had a fabulous holiday in Cambodia the temples around siem reap were absolutely amazing in their size and construction and the wealth of sculptural decoration more than lived up to my expectations
